Saguaro involved in “Scoala Altfel” Educational Program
On April 7, some fortunate high school students will get a first-hand look at life as a software developer, during a presentation and demo by Saguaro Technology as part of the “Scoala Altfel” Program. At the event taking place at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers, within Politehnica University of Timisoara, Saguaro will introduce and present to the students some career possibilities and achievements that could be waiting for them.
Attendees will be able to learn about Saguaro through a company presentation, followed by a demo session showing how software actually works. The demo will involve a 1.5m high working robot that will have to move an item to a specified destination. The demonstration will be explained and detailed by one of Saguaro’s Technical Managers, Mr. Andrei Riscuta.
Saguaro is pleased to take every opportunity to introduce young high school students to the world of software development. In this case, the software is for LPT (Loadboard Transfer) equipment, designed for automatic processor production. Since 2005, the SaguaroNet division has developed similar projects for real-world customers, and the software component presented in this event is part of a project that Saguaro started developing in 2012.
Saguaro invites all 12th grade students who attend technical high schools to this 10-15 minute presentation, which will be held in the D01 amphitheater within the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers.« Back to articles
