Saguaro Technology's greatest strength is its people. The Saguaro team is vibrant, dedicated and highly skilled. More than 95% of the employees have engineering and/or computer science degrees. The average age is 28. The team has both broad and deep technical skills. They are dedicated to serve Saguaro Technology's customers and take great pride in their work.
Saguaro Technology has well-established relationships with two outstanding Universities in Timisoara, Romania. Politehnica University is one of the largest and well-known technical universities in Central and Eastern Europe. Founded in 1920, the University has graduated over 100,000 engineers. Politehnica University is made up of ten colleges and four independent departments. With teaching faculty of 850, the University currently has over 15,000 students. University of West Timisoara traces its routes back to 1944 and is considered to be a landmark of Romanian education. The university, through eleven colleges, including computer science, and a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs, is dedicated to equip its students, currently 18,000 strong, with the skills needed to make effective contributions to society.
The company has a very active and selective compensated internship program that both provides high potential students with exposure to Saguaro and Saguaro with the opportunity to determine interns' potential as long-term Saguaro employees.
All of Saguaro's employees are fluent in English. All the employees are expected to communicate only in English in the Saguaro development lab.
Because of Saguaro's established reputation and close relationships with the local Universities, the company has access to very high potential students. Still, the company has a very rigorous selection process that has proven to be very successful.
