PEER Group, Inc. Selects Saguaro Technology to Continue Development and Support
Saguaro Technology and Ontario, Canada-based PEER Group, Inc. have reached agreement for Saguaro's SaguaroNet subsidiary to continue co-development and support of the semiconductor fabrication and equipment connectivity software PEER Group recently acquired from Asyst Technologies, Inc. PEER Group is a supplier of factory automation software solutions to the semiconductor, photovoltaic, electronics and life sciences industries. The new agreement enables SaguaroNet to seamlessly continue co-development and support of Asyst products acquired by PEER Group, as well as next generation products. Saguaro Tech Teams with bluedoorway on New Web-Based Service
bluedoorway, LLC and Saguaro Technology are teaming up to develop an innovative, new, web-based local-area search service. The new service gives greater search visibility to local merchants and service providers, while providing consumers with the convenience of quick identification of local businesses and ready access to contact, location and other information about them. The service is also being designed to provide other consumer services, such as online consultation and solicitation of quotations for residential services and home projects. Saguaro Tech Announces New Customer: Crossing Automation, Inc.
Saguaro Technology is pleased to announce the addition of its newest customer, Crossing Automation, Inc. Crossing Automation supplies wafer automation systems, equipment, including atmospheric and vacuum products, and engineering services to the process equipment industry. It recently acquired the rights to certain semiconductor manufacturing equipment software and technology from Asyst Technologies, Inc. The agreement with Saguaro Tech helps ensure Crossing Automation and its customers will receive uninterrupted access to the same, high-quality development and support services for its recently acquired software that was previously provided to Asyst. Saguaro Tech Announces New Internship Opportunities
Saguaro Technology would like to inform you that it is accepting applications for five new summer internship positions. All of the internships are being sponsored by the company's Saguaro Print subsidiary, located in Timisoara. This is the 6th consecutive year that Saguaro Tech is offering internships for qualified students. The company works in collaboration with the faculties and staffs of Politehnica University of Timisoara and West University of Timisoara to identify internship candidates and annually publishes the project descriptions, minimum selection criteria and related information on the universities’ campuses and here on its website. New, Fully-Equipped Saguaro Fitness Center Opens to Employees
In its ongoing commitment to creating a great working environment for its 200+ dedicated software professionals and staff, Saguaro Technology has announced the opening of its new on-campus Fitness Center and Sports Room. Unveiled just last month, the newly added Fitness Center is equipped with semi-professional grade work-out equipment, including a universal gym, treadmill, stationary bikes, free weights and a host of other exercise amenities. In addition, it features a large, high-definition, flat-screen TV and DVD player, enabling employees to work out to their favorite exercise videos, music or television programs. The freshly remodeled Sports Room, used primarily for ping-pong, foosball and other action games, has also been outfitted with new employee accommodations, including changing rooms, showers and locker-style storage units. Company Announces Expansion of Summer Internship Program for 2007
For a third consecutive year, Saguaro Technology will be working with local universities Politehnica University of Timisoara and West University of Timisoara to offer summer internship opportunities to qualified students. This year the company has expanded the program to include as many as nine placements. Saguaro Tech Certified by WBENC
The Women's Business Enterprise Council - West today notified the company that it had successfully met all of the requirements of its detailed application and review process and was certified as a member of it and the National Council.
Certification by the WBENC means that the company has met the stringent qualifying criteria to establish it as a ''woman-owned'' business, eligible to participate in government contracts requiring or providing incentives for the use of preferences and set asides for such businesses. SaguaroNet Receives ISO Certification
The recognized European ISO qualifying authority today approved the company's SaguaroNet subsidiary as an ISO 9001:2000 certified facility for Software Development.
The move means that the standards organization's audit of the company's Quality Management System showed that it meets or exceeds the rigorous ISO quality standards for software development. View certificate.

Company Receives Quality Recognition from IBM
A surprise highlight of the day's Dedication ceremonies (details immediately below) was the presentation by Jeff Paterra, Vice President, Development and Professional Services, IBM Printing Systems Division, of a framed certificate of recognition. The certificate, entitled Quality in Software Engineering, cites Saguaro Tech's commitments to quality, the delivery of superior products and services, and total customer satisfaction. Dedication Ceremonies Mark Official Opening of New Building
Two years of planning and construction culminated in today's official dedication of Saguaro Technology's new Timisoara campus. Doina Mazilu, the company's founder and president, kicked off the weekend-long event with a dedication address to over one-hundred fifty invited guests, including customer representatives, employees, company and local officials and members of the media.
Among other things, Ms. Mazilu stressed the importance of the new, state-of-the-art facility as a statement of the company's long-term commitment to its customers and employees. Ms. Mazilu's remarks were followed by the official ribbon cutting, a tour of the facility and a buffet lunch in the new employee cafeteria and dining room.

Construction Complete!
Saguaro Technology Completes Move to New, State-of-the-Art Facility
Saguaro Technology today announced that it has completed
the relocation of all Romanian operations into its new,
multi-story, Timisoara facility. Construction of the new
building, which will accommodate up to 300 employees, took
approximately one year to complete and was built at a cost
of nearly US$3.5 million.
To gauge the significance of the undertaking, the building
was constructed using 2700 cubic yards of concrete and
over 350 tons of steel. Its offices, cafeteria and state-of-the-art
security system are powered and connected by some 90 Km
(54 miles) of internet and electrical cabling. The new
building, home to STI subsidiaries Saguaro Print and SaguaroNet,
is slated for formal dedication in early May. View

Company Contributes to Relief Fund Aiding U.S. Hurricane Victims
Having first-hand experience with the devastating effects of flooding that ravaged Timis County,
Romania, earlier this year, Saguaro Technology moved quickly to aid similarly affected U.S. hurricane victims.
The company announced today that it has donated US$2000 to the American Red Cross to aid in the hurricane Katrina and hurricane Rita relief efforts.
Hurricane Katrina, because of the vast area affected, the number of people displaced and the total destruction of buildings and infrastructure in its path, is described by many as the worst natural disaster ever to hit the United States.

Saguaro Technology Lends a Hand to Local Flood Victims
Recent severe flooding had devastating consequences for many
residents of Timis County, home to Saguaro Technology. Touched and saddened by the many
accounts of those displaced from their homes and suffering from the flood's effects, the company's
employees wasted no time in setting up a victims' relief fund. Money raised is being used to purchase food,
water and other goods necessary to help flood victims get back on their feet. The company is also doing its part,
contributing two dollars for every dollar raised by employees to help in the relief effort.

SaguaroNet Begins Operations on Schedule, Staffing for New Requirements Underway
Saguaro Technology announced today that its newly formed subsidiary, SaguaroNet, S.R.L., has formally commenced operations.
The company previously announced plans to begin operations at the new company before the end of the year.
SaguaroNet provides software services to companies who are seeking an effective way to expand their internal development teams,
without making permanent commitments to infrastructure and payroll headcount.

build a 40,000 square-foot facility in Timisoara, Romania. The facility will include modern labs and state-of-the-art Internet connections.
It is designed to accommodate approximately 300 employees. Ground breaking is expected later this year, with the new campus slated for occupancy in 2005.
