2011 Saguaro Technology Annual Christmas Party
A Saguaro Tradition
On December 9th, the Saguaro team gathered at the No Name Club in Timisoara for the company's annual Christmas party. The team not only enjoyed celebrating the season together but also commemorated another successful year highlighted by continuing company expansion and successful execution of all key projects. This year, the team also welcomed key executives and technical staff from Ricoh InfoPrint Solutions who were visiting from Boulder Colorado.It was an enjoyable time for all as the team both reflected on a very successful 2011 and anticipated a challenging and exciting 2012.
Saguaro Employees Compete in Timisoara Marathon
Catalin Miclaus runs to victory in full Marathon, while Otilia Danet holds her own in 10K event.
Saguaro sponsors employee-athletes' participation, as 10s rule the day - almost.
The year is 2010. It is the 10th day of the 10th month. Tens of athletes are poised and ready to run. The start time for the race? 10:10 in the morning, of course. It is the perfect time for the running of the Timisoara Marathon! Saguaro's own Otilia Danet went with the theme, choosing the 10K for her event. Her Saguaro counterpart, Catalin Miclaus, however, went his own way, opting to run in the full Marathon (42K) - and winning it! The races were run through the streets of Timisoara, with the Finish Line strategically positioned in the Opera House Square. There, both runners were warmly cheered by colleagues, friends and family at the conclusions of their races, each receiving - you guessed it - a "10" for their outstanding efforts. Congratulations to Catalin and Otilia for their individual accomplishments and demonstration of Saguaro spirit!

A little rain was not going to be enough to dampen the competitive spirits of STI's twelve employee-participants or their noisy, enthusiastic supporters! Saguaro athletes and fans alike turned out on a cool wet day for the 2010 edition of the grueling running and biking marathon, Crosul Firmelor. And, true to form, their own Catalin Miclaus crossed the finish line first to claim top honors among the runners. The victory gave Catalin his third win in the event. It was the second straight successful defense of the title he first won in 2008. Congratulations to Catalin and to the other Saguaro competitors! And many thanks to all of the stalwart co-workers, friends and family members who showed up in the rain to cheer them on! [ More Photos ]

Saguaro Tech Opens Doors to Children of Employees for Fun, Educational Event
Bring Your Child to Work Day a big hit with parents and youngsters alike.
Monday, May 31st was not your average work day at Saguaro Tech. Nor was it your average school day for thirty-four children of Saguaro employees. Instead, it was a special day, one that brought parents and children together to visit Saguaro Tech's modern, high-tech, Timisoara campus. It was a day that gave the young ones a chance to see their mom's or dad's office (or, in some cases, both their offices!), to sit in their chairs and to understand a little more about what they do. It was Bring Your Child to Work Day at Saguaro, and it wasn't all about what mom and dad do. It was also about having a little fun, enjoying some great food and getting to meet and spend time with other children who have a parent that works at Saguaro. When it was over, both parents and children agreed that not only was it nice to have work and school take a back seat for a day, but that this was a great way to spend a Monday together!
